Dovecote House & Roaming Kitchen — Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms
These terms and conditions govern all supply of goods and services ("products") by Dovecote House
and the Dovecote House Roaming Kitchen ("we", "us") to you, the purchaser or consumer, including
your use of our website at www.dovecotehouse.co.nz ("Website"). They replace all earlier terms of
trade.
We may change these terms by posting an updated version on the Website.
To purchase from our online shop you must be 18 years of age or over. Purchases via the Website
are for personal use or consumption only. If you are purchasing on behalf of an entity, you warrant
you are authorised to agree on that entity's behalf.
At our Roaming Kitchen, food is sold for immediate consumption at point of sale. By purchasing, you
accept these terms of trade.
2. Availability & supply
All orders are subject to product availability. If a product becomes unavailable, we will endeavour to
note this in the online shop or at the Roaming Kitchen point of sale.
3. Pricing & invoices
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Prices exclude
delivery charges where applicable. Prices are correct when published and may change at any time.
An invoice or receipt will be provided to the address or email supplied with your order or at the point
of sale. You are responsible for ensuring your contact details are correct.
4. Payment options & security
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, and other payment methods as may be
available at our Roaming Kitchen (including EFTPOS and cash). Card payments are processed by
Stripe for online transactions and are subject to Stripe's terms and conditions. We do not store full
card details.
5. Delivery
For online purchases, we deliver to New Zealand street addresses only. Delivery charges are
calculated by eShip with NZ Post once you enter shipping details. Typical delivery time is 2–5 working
days. A tracking number will be provided. For Roaming Kitchen purchases, food is served
immediately for on-site consumption and no delivery is available.
6. Returns & consumer rights
We comply with New Zealand consumer law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair
Trading Act 1986.
Faulty or defective items: Contact us within a reasonable timeframe for a replacement or refund. Due
to the nature of our products, which are primarily food items (including those served at the Roaming
Kitchen for immediate consumption), we cannot accept returns for change of mind. Refunds are
issued to the original payment method for faulty items only. Exchanges are subject to availability.
Exceptions: Perishable goods and ready-to-eat food cannot be returned unless faulty. Contact:

7. Business purchases & limitation of liability
Where goods are acquired for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not
apply. To the extent permitted by law, all conditions, warranties and guarantees implied by statute or
common law are excluded, except where we have acted in bad faith. Our maximum liability is limited
to the price paid for the product or service concerned. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or
special losses.
8. Website information
We endeavour to ensure information is complete and accurate but accept no responsibility for errors,
omissions or outdated information.
9. Privacy, communications & cookies
We use personal information to process and deliver orders and communicate with you. Marketing
communications are opt-in and may be unsubscribed at any time. The Website may use cookies to
enable features. We may disclose information where required by law. While we take steps to protect
security, we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
10. Website use & compliance
You agree to use the Website, and to purchase our products, in accordance with the laws of your
location and with New Zealand law.
11. Notices
We may deliver notices to you via the email address you provide.
12. General
We may update these terms from time to time by posting a notice on www.dovecotehouse.co.nz.
Failure to enforce any term is not a waiver. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder shall remain
in force. Except as stated, these terms do not confer rights on third parties. New Zealand law applies,
and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
